How to unlock chest?

Where are keys usually placed?

The key is in the second drawer, vertically.

How to unlock diary?

The diary key is in the desk's secret compartment. Need to use things in the room to unlock it.

Light plug is under the bed.

Plug in the light: click under the bed to find plug. Click outlet, then click outlet again to plug it in.

Click light to turn it.

Close window curtains.

Open the desk drawers that the light shines on.

Click diary in inventory. Then click the lock on the diary.

I'm done the game. What happened?

Everyone in town is out looking for Sarah, so there is no one home. You found Sarah's phone and deleted some incriminating chat logs. You ripped out pages of her diary mentioning a suspicious person. She didn't tell anyone about meeting you at the bar, because she would get in trouble for underage drinking. You escape the way you came in, through the window. Congrats, you destroyed all the leads and sucessfully escaped!

Story Walkthrough

1. Backstory:
Newspaper - everyone in town is out looking for Sarah, an abducted teenager.
Fridge photos - photos of Sarah and her family.

2. Find Sarah's phone:
- In bedroom, look under pillows.
- Click phone. The lockscreen has a heart (hint).
- See photo of Sarah and her boyfriend, Sam, on her shelf.
- In the kitchen, look at the calendar.
- Code is her boyfriend's birthday, Nov. 16 (1116).

3. Find Sarah's diary:
- In bedroom, look in desk drawers to find the chest key (2nd drawer down).
- Open chest.
- Take diary. The key is in the secret compartment in the desk. To open it:
- Look under bed for plug.
- Click outlet, then click outlet again to plug in the light.
- Close window curtains.
- Turn the light.
- Open the drawers that the desk light shines on.
- Click heart key.
- Click diary in inventory, and click the lock to unlock it.
